I always love our view at the Pono Kai on the east side of Kauai. It never disappoints. I love the sunrises. I really enjoy the people watching with everyone on the coastal path.

I would agree with jeff, Pono Kia was amazing, and when i could manage to get up early the sunrises where spectacular.

Several come to mind, so I'll list them all because I can't choose just one. Often it has been luck of the draw, when we received perhaps the best views in the place. Some of these weren't even the greatest timeshares, except views to die for. And, some were (the greatest timeshares). In no particular order:

Kuleana Club, Maui
Les Naturelles, Leukerbad, Switzerland
Le Golfe Bleu, Roquebrune, France
Pacific Shores, BC Canada
Cala Pi, Mallorca
Anfi Palace, Murren Switzerland (no longer a timeshare)
Belair Beach Club, St. Maarten

Many others with fabulous ocean views, except maybe nothing else additional within view, such as islands or hills or beautiful foliage, so I didn't count them. :)

Grand Luxxe Nuevo Vallarta penthouse floor view. Got it after 5.5 hours presentation but still worth it.....

I’m with you. The views in the Puerto/Nuevo Vallarta area are spectacular! This photo is from the Friendly Vallarta resort in Puerto Vallarta. That trip was a great deal. I got one week, all flights, ocean view room AND all inclusive for 800.00.

Here's a pic of the view from our Smugglers Notch unit. Doesn't do it justice. View attachment 11907

We were hiking in the notch today. Did the trail to sterling pond. If you can call this a trail.

The road over the notch was just opened Wednesday and the trail was interesting to say the least.

I did that one many years ago in summer. Was tough and I was in good shape- the 'steps" going up were very steep.

But it was my hike up Mansfield that did me in. Now I just take walks. LOL!

I know...a subjective question as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
In your opinion, which timeshare I have stayed in where the views are so beautiful it just stands out from any other place you have stayed?
My favorite is oceanfront unit at Holiday Inn Galveston Resort because the sunsets are so beautiful. I would rather watch the sunset on my balcony then do anything else.
- this is not a hotel, no room service, no daily housekeeping
- this is not on Seawall where the bars and action are
- this is not close to any convenience stores or grocery stores, so best to stock up.
- If you want to sit on the beach, bring your own chairs / towels & umbrella.
The property has a wooden ramp that will take you most of the way to the beach.
We had Scattered thunderstorms all week in morning, then partly cloudy late. High around 85F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. The beach had a breeze, and the night was cooler than day, but delightful. There is also a handy spot with a spigot to wash off sandals and bare feet
Our quiet resort offers the perfect place to relax. All units feature a balcony with either a beach or pool view, and they have a great pool for adults and little ones. What could be better?

It has been a few years , but we did Mansfield on the Hell's Brook Trail. That one is considered the hardest trail in VT. A few years ago we started up it and my vertigo kicked in. That was well before the chin where one foothold is inches away from a 1000 ft cliff. In 50 yrs of hiking that was the scariest step I have ever taken.

Ugh! We went up with a group starting from Underhill State Park. Going back down, we had to line up in formation. I remember a young girl was first in line and started crying once she looked down and realized we had to go down on our butts to start off.

People enjoy doing this kind of thing? I don't get it.....The views are wonderful- but still........I considered it torture. LOL!
