How does one narrow down a search to a specific state or country with the revamped RCI website? I get a list of every resort in the US and a map to the right with hundreds of pins.

I suppose I could put in state by state or country by country, but give me the old format of regions and states, provinces or countries within that region!!

The RCI website looks the same as it has for ages to me. For an example, when I look for an Extra Vacation or an Exchange a map of the world shows up, then I click on the USA (or where ever), then on the next page there is a list down the left side of the page to further search by area and then state. There is also a choice to see the results by list or map.

Are you logging in directly into RCI or going though a portal like Marriott or something?

Could you post a picture of what you see ?

With a RCI Weeks account, I see it like this

Assuming you have RCI weeks, in Youppi's screenshot above, see the Geographic areas in the boxes across the top:
USA - MEXICO - SOUTH AMERICA - CANADA - MORE
If you are searching for anything other than the first 4, select MORE, then make further choices.

If you select USA, the US geographic areas will appear on the next screen. I don't have access, so I don't remember them all, but you will once again select one of the choices across the top, or MORE.

Also, down the left frame, make sure you have Exchange, Extra Vacation or Last Call selected. You may make additional selections there too.

I have never used the map to select.

When I look at RCI on my iPad it looks the same as it always has. When I look at the website on my desktop using Google Chrome it is as OP describes. Totally different.

I haven't figured it out yet either and I have been trying for a about a week. Lucky for me I had formerly saved a "new England" search. But, now when I run it, same issue as you, I can't drill down to particular states. I also can't figure out how to save new searches either and I have to constantly "refresh" pages to get them to load.

Seriously....I didn't think RCIs site could get any worse than what it was.

The new search feature is "broken" for me. I can get everything but the dates right. GAH GAH GAH. Why is it so hard???

Not that RCI.com has not been frustrating since the beginning, 1996, but when I search a specific area for specific check-in dates (a weekend in December), it shows the resorts that are available, but, when I open a resort, it shows all availability on all dates, not just the ones I requested.

Like I said . . . totally used to stuff like that.

In RCI Points, if you click on the United States on the map, the next screen gives you the option of "List View" at the top. Click on that, and you'll get the usual resort listing.

After 23 years, I don't believe anyone at RCI really cares that their site does not work well.
