Las Palmeras lucks out with new Universal Resort

Universal finally announced new 3rd resort in Orlando.
It appears that HGVC's Las Palmeras is right next door.

Yes when we were there they were talking about it then. Las Palmeras has a hotel look and feel to it (which it was) and its not as nice as the other HGVC properties down there as far as the grounds, etc. from our opinion. But having Universal so close should be a great feature.

If I’m going to universal I’ll always stay at a universal resort that way I get the free express pass.

You could do that and use the room as a throwaway room.
