Grande Ocean Pool Chair Policy - 8/2019

All of the Loungers have this attached to it. Looks like 45 minutes is what they are enforcing.

Came down to the pool area at 10:45 and instantly found 2 lounge chairs by the pool.

Having a policy is one thing enforcing it is the problem at most places. We will be there in two weeks
I hope they are enforcing this policy.

Just curious, how are they enforcing this?
Is someone monitoring the chairs- attaching a time tag or such?
If they have a good system maybe it will spread to other locations.

At Grande Ocean, it doesn’t appear to be a problem. I can count about 45 open loungers from my balcony right now.

They appeared to be enforcing it when we were there 5 weeks ago but it was not a problem at the North pool, not sure about the Dolphin pool which tends to be busier.

All of my comments are about the Dolphin pool. So far it’s been fantastic.

It is a great policy and it should be in effect and enforced at all resorts. To anyone that went in July, was this policy in effect and enforced in July or did it just go into effect in August.

I ask because from the beginning of August on tends to be less and less crowded in HHI. Many schools in the surrounding states start school early August. Last year we went 3rd week August and restaurants were less crowded, traffic was manageable and lounge chairs were generally available. We are going to be there this Saturday and have family in another unit starting Sunday for this reason. It is a good start but I would be more impressed if this went into effect and enforced in July.
