Yikes! How terrifying for the family. Good job other people were camping close by to offer some help.
I am glad we are past our tent camping days, I feel a little safer in our trailer.

Wild areas of Canada are actually wild. It seems like a shotgun would of been handy. We used to take shotguns on some fishing trips into Canada. Some people swear by pepper spray but I would rather have 12 ga .
