If I knew someone who co-founded Hooters I don't think I'd be bragging about it.I think it probably seems like everybody should know him because you happen to know him. But some people are more known for what they did, than for what their name is. Your friend is famous because he started Hooters, just not so much for his name.
Dave
Their wings are pretty good IMO. Ate 44 of them at the all you can eat wings at their location in Cancun in January.I can honestly say I have never set foot into a Hooters. Don’t have anything against it, but have no desire to go there.

Hmmmmm!? I hadn't thought that. There's a lot of people I know that I wouldn't figure anyone here would, just because I do.
I thought some here might know him because he is a prominent Florida businessman, and involved with some resorts.
You're assuming too much.
Perhaps. I was just trying to answer your apparent surprise that others don’t seem to know this person you know.
Dave
Hmmm?!
Is Clearwater on the east coast now?
I guess I should pay more attention to this climate change thing that's in all the newspapers.
Florida is on the East Coast, much more than it is on the West Coast.
