WKORV - No Studios Available for First Week of March

I have my timeshare at the WKORVN reserved for the first week of March 2020. Some of our family will be traveling with us so we also need to reserve a studio unit at either WKORV or WKORVN through Marriott. However, I went online to reserve a unit today and found none were currently available. Only 1-bedroom units were available. I know in the past I have reserved comparable units for this same time as late as early December. Do you think this is a result of Marriott's expansion of access to these units? Could it be related to the introduction of their new tier system on September 14th? Or do you think Maui is just going to be that busy in March 2020?

Any insight anyone might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

No, this is too be expected - the Staroption reservation window for the first week of March opened on July 1, 2019, so you are about 7 weeks too late. I don't think it has anything to do with Marriott - it's just supply and demand.

Hey Denise - Thanks for your response. I was actually just trying to reserve a studio through the WKORV Marriott site, not make a Vistana reservation. The only rooms that had available were 1-bedroom units.

I think it depends on how many units they have access to rent for that week.

Maybe less owners are exchanging for hotel points so the inventory is not there?
March is Maui is fairly busy, I’m not surprised there isn’t availability.
