When my daughter was 7 months old I held her on lap on our flight to Hawaii. She was really good. But after 5 hours my husband held her for about 2 hours. She was a smaller infant so maybe about 15 pounds. So how the heck do you hold a miniature horse on your lap.

I pray this passenger purchase two (2) tickets. One for the horse and one for her. LOL.

I have never seen one, but miniature horses can be trained as a service animal. As a matter of fact, Southwest specifically allows them:

Trained service animals

A fully trained service animal is individually trained to perform a task(s) or work for a person with a physical and/or mental disability.

Southwest Airlines welcomes trained dogs, cats, and miniature horses as service animals onboard our flights as long as the Customer is able to provide credible verbal assurance that the animal is a trained service animal. Southwest Airlines does not accept unusual or exotic species of animals.

Earlier I posted a story of a man forced to sit in dog poop on the plane. If this horse has a accident I guess the next passenger to occupy it’s seat (and current passengers) will have to suffer.
