A store selling marijuana right next to Costco and Winco.
Yep. I saw one (a very nice looking store) right beside a truck stop in Ontario Oregon. It sure wasn't like that 'back in the day'.

IIRC, there’s one in Steamboat Springs across the street from a Pawn Shop.

I think this may have been a reference to the fact that many of us simply operate in a cashless world. I still carry the stuff, but it always amazes me how long it is between using it. We live in a world where the basic form of currency is plastic.

Once again- something we thought would never change.
