My husband did two nine-month cruises on the nuclear version of the USS Enterprise flying the Hawkeye E-2 during the Vietnam War, so anything about the Enterprise is always of interest to him. Thanks for posting this.

After my 4 years in the USAF I worked at Grumman in Bethpage, LI as a QC inspector on the E2C, and C2A. That was in the mid 80's.
