I've read a few recent posts that mention Marriott resales. I thought they did away with this...at least I can't find the website anymore to search inventory. Do the still post inventory online? If so, where? If not, how does someone looking to purchase a resale week find the available inventory? I'm not interested in points at the moment. I'm hoping to pick up a week on the resale market. Appreciate any help!

I believe they just rebranded it to this. https://www.marriottvacationclub.com/exit/

They no longer list weeks online, but these would be the folks to call if you are looking to buy a resale week directly from MVC.

Thank you both for the info. @SteelerGal, I've been searching on ebay and redweek regularly but forgot about Myresortnetwork. I'll add it to my list. I saw on one of your recent posts where someone mentioned Marriott Resales having a specific week available, so I thought they might have a list of availablity on the web.

I’ve spoken to Preferred Resales about our search however they didn’t have what I needed at this time. You may want to reach out.

I worked with Concierge Realty on a resale purchase and it went pretty smooth. I would use them again, if I was looking.

Rebecca, depending on the resort, I'd find a good broker like Syed at Advantage Vacations(Hawaii), David Cortese at Magical Realty(East Coast), etc., and let them know what you are looking for. They have an internal broker network they can access and may have pocket listings that aren't on Redweek, etc. I prefer buying direct from the owner, but for a hard-to-find week a good broker can really help.

I bought my two marriott timeshares from resale. My HHI week I bought from Redweek. It was super easy. My second week (Grande Vista) I bought from a realtor named Gena Grossman at Preferred Timeshare (760-761-1111, ext. 25). She was very nice and when my first attempt at the Grand Vista was ROFR that when we tried again she was able to get be a Grande Vista week that was part of the Florida Club for not much more. Its worth reaching out.
