I posted about this in Buying / Selling / Renting because someone had posted about this company in 2018, and I know we can't post the same thing in two places, so I wanted to alert Marriott people about it here with a link. The company seems to contact Marriott owners specifically. They offer to rent your unit out, then they bait and switch and say they want you to deposit your week into II - they use it for an exchange and rent out the exchanges, paying you a fee for the use of your week. Obviously not allowed by II's rules. Yes II has been notified.

Thanks for posting this for the Marriott owners.

For those that don't know this; Marriott owns Interval International. Not sure if that fact makes a difference or not but thought I'd put it out there.

Specifically Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), the parent company of MVC bought Interval Leisure Group (ILG), the parent company of II.
This does not change though the fact that it is against II rules.

But might the ownership structure change make it more likely that II would crack down on this? I always understood them to be stricter about this than RCI. (See also: ongoing thread about DVC exchanges showing up on ebay.)
