If it was hornets, or wasps-----I would spray them away.

But, I really don't want to spray the BEES.
These bees are friendly as they mingle around our flowers in the summer.

But, as it was last year----I think as the summer ends, they THEN build a nest in the rock stairway to our breezeway.

OFTEN, as we try to enter that area, there is a BEE that swarms in a circle, as if to say " This is MY area!!!" haha

Suggestions?

Yes, I bet you there are plenty of local beekeepers that support the blueberry farms....they could provide help move (not kill) the swarm.

Beekeepers have smokers that calm the bees so their nests can be safely moved. A few calls around to 'farm stores' should result in finding someone willing and able to find them a new home. You might even try the 'answer desk' at your local library. Good Luck!

Call your agric extension agent in your area. They will be able to refer you to some beekeepers IMO.
