We stayed at Marriott cypress for thirty seven days and only four days were credit to our Bono vo nights. I contacted the resort and they were lost but willing to do whatever they needed to do. First they stated since it was a timeshare stay we would not be credited, I informed her this was not true. I told her we stay at the resort every year and have always been awarded nights stay for the last six years. We then called platinum services and the young lady was lost. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I’m confused if she is the supervisor and she doesn’t understand timeshare ownership nights. She said she was the only person to speak with. So I hung up and called back and the second girls seemed a little more knowledgeable. Ughhh any recommendations would be of great help.
Frustrating!

You can try filling out a missing stay form online 10 days after your checkout date. This seems so simple for the Bonvoy agents to handle on the phone.
Not that it makes any difference but was this an exchange? Was your Bonvoy # on the reservation? Just trying to figure out why an agent could not do this on the phone.

Was something different with the 4 days vs the other 33 days. Multiple ressie's/ressie sources?

We stayed on a II getaway and yes our bonvoy number was attached to the reservation. It shows up in my bonvoy account and the platinum agent clearly can see the stay. At first she thought it was a Groupon. Then she said timeshare nights don’t get credit. Ughhh

My recent II exchanges have not been populating into my Bonvoy (www.marriott.com), my weeks reservations always show up. I have had to go online click on my stays complete the "Don't see your reservation? Search by confirmation number" and add the reservation number on my II confirmation certificate (I typically wait 10-14 days after I get the exchange). I know other treads have talked about this missing stay process and they have been helpful for me. The other wrinkle that happened to me was II put my wife's name not mine as primary on the exchange so I had to search with her name and change it to mine since it was my bonvoy account. I have also done this with hotel stays booked thru room blocks at conferences (technically they are not suppose to qualify). I feel overall Marriott is making it more difficult to accumulate nights and get bonus points and you get a different story every time you call the help lines, so stay vigilant everyone.

4 months ago I had 3 nights booked through MVC DC points but nothing showed up. I attached the folio and filed a missing stay. I had a reply from Marriott that stays booked through third party discount sites did not qualify. I explained that it was through MVC ownership and it should always count. She said for me to call the property directly and she closed my case. I was infuriated and called the Titanium line. This time I had someone knowlegeable and she added the nights for me. I have nothing but bad experience from the Bonvoy folks after the hotel merger. I am not looking forward to the integration between Sheraton/Westin and Marriott on the timeshare end.

My advice is to keep calling and if the agent is not knowledgeable, ask to be transferred to a supervisor.

Why does this surprise you? Think it through. Every bonus point Marriott (and it is not just Marriott) doesn't give you credit for is money to their bottom line profit. I'm not saying it is right but it is what it is...

I was floored with my first call to the platinum line. The girl had no clue that Marriott vacation club nights counted. When I asked for a supervisor I was told she was the supervisor and she could not transfer me. Then she gave me an email address that no longer works with Marriott.

I received this email and not sure I understand it.
