We completed a 75 minute (yes out of there in 75 minutes) sales presentation at Canyon Villas. The offer for gift were:
25,000 Bonvoy Points
$150 AmEx Gift Card
2 Rounds of Golf at Wildfire + $50 AmEx Gift Card (this actually is the "seasonal fee" for the cart per person)
We choose the golf as the rack rate online was $139 per golfer.

From the presentation - sales rep was pushing the fact that we as Legacy owners (legacy week option or 2,375 DVC Points) would NOT be able to book at any of the new Marriott towers in Hawaii or any of the Westin or Hyatt properties - this is because these would be part of the Trust, not Legacy. This is not what I recalled from various posts - please comment as applicable.

Push was to purchase 1,000 Trust points @14.26 (our last presentation price) with multiple discounts, bonus Trust points, waive of maintenance fee til 2021 and 100,000 Bonvoy Points.

We said no to all of the above with 2 kids in college and from MN - airfare is high to get to great locations for only a few days with points.

I am not sure if one of our favourite UK characters made it across the pond, but I agree with Victor Meldrew.
