Unable to borrow points

I currently have 3 contracts with Use year starting in Jan. I am unable to borrow from a new resale contract with a Oct. Use year. I tried making a reservation this month, but Wyndham website only lets me rent points, I wanted to borrow points from Oct. use year of 2020 contract.

I contacted Wyndham already, they are trying to resolve problem.


Anyone ever have a similar problem?

All my Jan. 2020 use year points are already borrowed. That is why I want to borrow my Oct. 2020 use year points now, but website doesn't let me.

  During the Express Reservation Timeframe, if a Member needs additional Points in the Use Year they are planning to travel to complete a reservation, they have the option to borrow only from the next available Use Year following the check-in date of the reservation.

That is correct. I couldn't borrow because I had empty buckets in the way after realignment. Ticket after ticket did nothing. It is fixed now but that took a lot of pushing.

So if I ask Wyndham to convert contract with Oct. 2020 use year to Jan. 2020 use year, I would be able to borrow this month, correct?

That's how I would interpret it

I believe even with realignment, the problem will be that what you really want to borrow from is the 2021 use year - currently that runs 10/1/2020-9/30/2021, but that UY would realign to 1/1/2021-12/31/2021.

I will just wait till Jan. 2020
