Anniversary Dinner Tonight

Today is our 35th wedding anniversary and we are celebrating at the same place we celebrated our 25th, Hy’s steakhouse.

Little did we know that 10 years later we would be living a half mile from Hy’s.

This picture from about 9 years ago on the Big Island, is when we decided we would try to work towards moving here.

Yesterday we found another little hole in the wall place a block from our apartment. Sam’s Kitchen has a really small menu and they have seating in an alley but the food was great and they made the space look nice. We both had the Garlic Shrimp and it was great.

Wow what a dinner. Hy’s did not disappoint. I had the 28 oz Tomahawk cut. It was an Angus, Wagyu mix breed. It was excellent. We didn’t load up on anything else but I can’t believe I ate it all. The soup was Lobster Bisque. The one great thing about Hy’s is the service, none better.
