I don't care for that hotel personally, too noisy. I stay in that area every week on business and lived in Miami for 7 years.
I would grab the residence Inn /courtyard/marriott complex since its cheaper (they charge for parking though) and share nice amenities. The new Towneplace suites is 'outside the gates' of that complex I just mentioned, but if you're there to just sleep, stay there to save the money. (not somewhere I'd go wandering on foot at night). A bit closer to Little Havana would be Coral Gables Courtyard on Le Jeune or the 4 points Sheraton off Ponce De Leon/38th.
The closest Marriott is probably the Aloft in Brickell though, its a trendy hotel with a pool table in the lobby, a bar, and decent breakfast. Parking isn't cheap but you can street park and have the meters shut off around 1AM i believe. Cheapest Uber ride but you can take the free trolley as well.
