What is the best bundle pricing currently? Looking again to add equivalent of 5250 points.

I would keep in mind maintenance fees of course for the resale.

I have done some searches but have not seen anything less than apps $7.45 which I have had offered in the past.

I currently own an enrolled week worth 1863 points (3725 points every other year).

@StevenTing reported this yesterday in another thread...

We still had 50 minutes left in our time and he said he has to keep us there for one reason or another. He left and the wife and I sat there. About 20 minutes later the 2nd guy came in and said he could offer us 10k points in the $6.30 area based off their promotion. This happened to be the pricing level of my last points resale purchase that we talked about. We declined.

The promotion was something like a 2 for 1. Purchase 2 external resale weeks and they get enrolled and points. So probably 6500 points from resale weeks and 3500 points at retail. He said the MF’s would be about 0.46 per point. It was a nice offer, but I don’t need 10k more points at this time.

I was offered a bundle for $6.30 per point for a Custom House unit and 2000 points purchase. I did not accept, but if I needed or wanted more points, I may have accepted it. That was this summer. I have seen some similar bundles offered here on TUG.

I just received a bundle offer yesterday in Orlando that was for about 4200 total points at $8.41/pt. Not very competitive and I didn’t even try to negotiate as we had no intention of purchasing anymore points or weeks. Steve, the $6.50 range for 10,000 points is a pretty good deal if willing to spend $65k. Lol

I purchased a resale on my own, then did their "buy 3000 points and get your resale enrolled". It ended up being ~$5.90/point. Of course there is no guarantee they will continue to offer that option, but if it works, they will likely continue.

That is certainly the way to the best bundle pricing for sure as you are not also paying inflated pricing on the resale week.

Is this any external resale you can enroll with a 3k DC Pts purchase?

The enrollment special when Marriott makes it available (historically once a year for a limited time) allows you to enroll any resale week with a points purchase. The point purchase amount varies with the number of weeks you wish to enroll. You must have the resale week closed and in your account before the effective date of an enrollment special. Also instead of points you can usually purchase a week from Marriott (Aruba, St. Kitts) to enroll during to open enrollment period. Amounts vary but with the right combination you get the total purchase down to $3.00 per point or below with an investment just under $100K

You should be able to beat $7.45 with resale points purchase, including the junk fees.
