Wow, it actually worked, that's unusual.
Took me a while to find my Customer ID. Eventually found an old email that had it.
Silly you ... thinking they would have actually been proactive enough to send such an email out to everybody. ;-) I have yet to received such an email from MVC.I received an email from MVCI this morning titled "Your Login Experience Is Changing" and in that email, was my customer id. For those who have not done this yet.
I never got an email either.Silly you ... thinking they would have actually been proactive enough to send such an email out to everybody. ;-) I have yet to received such an email from MVC.
Saw this on the MVC Owner Login page this morning.....
As part of ongoing web security upgrades, a new and improved Owner login page is coming November 5, 2019.
You will soon be required to create a new username and password to update your web account access.
Yes, my wife and I have separate log ins, both updated using the new process. My husband and I always had separate log-ins but it appears to only be allowing us to have one now (in his name)....
Anyone able to do separate log-ins?
Note: After spending 20 minutes trying to set up a new account and logging in and getting error messages, I wrote to them and received this message back:
We received your concern over logging into the website. It is a known issue that is actively being worked on. Some people are having luck on Google Chrome. We are working quickly to resolve the issue and apologize the inconvenience this may have caused you.
I just updated mine and there was NO REQUIREMENT to change user name. The password needed to updated to comply with having numbers(2), cap (A), small (a) and a special symbol (&). Not a big deal.I hate having to come up with a new user name. A new password, ok, though I’d rather not have to do that either. But no one asked me...again!
Can confirm you can keep same username. Had to go find an old confirmation of payment to find my Customer ID. My guess this is a lawyer CYA based on the security breach at Marriott.
Fairly painless.
So this is what I have to look forward to after seven nights in Europe followed by nine sailing across the North Atlantic (at times in 46' seas) on the Norwegian Encore? I am so far out of the loop on this stuff...
I have two accounts: 1) original personal account which has my club dues and 2) a trust account that has my deeds and maintenance fees. Don't ask my why they set it up that way. I cannot get either set up. I only have the customer number for the trust account. I was able to change the password on both accounts, but cannot do the connect ownership part. It wants a first and last name, but my trust is "XXXXX Family Living Trust." It will not let me enter that in either the first, last or both names. The original personal account says that account is not found using my first and last name. I knew this would not go smoothly for me. Guess I will need to call.
I, too, have a personal account and a trust account. Marriott told me at the time I created the trust that I needed 2 accounts because Marriott requires an actual PERSON for reservations. Hence, I have 2 customer numbers: 1 for the personal account and 1 for the trust. First I created created a new account using my name and customer number, and that went smoothly. Next I created an account for the trust using the trust's customer number. That proved to be trickier because the name of my trust is [my first name] [my middle initial] [my last name] Trust. I soon learned that the LASTNAME for the trust has to be Trust, otherwise I got an error saying the name on the account and the customer number do not match. So for the first name I used [my first name] [my middle initial] [my last name], and for the last name I used Trust and then it worked.
It is listed on any Maintenance Fee invoice if you have any from current or prior year. How does one find their customer ID?
