We have Amazon Prime always because we buy stuff on Amazon so often. The streaming is a bonus. Just finished Jack Ryan. I just bought a new iPhone so now I have a free year of Apple TV plus.

The rest we rotate. Cancelled HBO after Game of Thrones. Just bombed through Narcos on Netflix and cancelled that. We’ll try Showtime soon.

I watch a lot of sports and still have cable.

We signed up for Disney Plus under a promotion....3 years for $4. per month, prepaid. This allows us 7 profiles, content to be stored on up to 10 devices, and 4 users streaming at the same time. This is great as it allows our 3 adult children who no longer live at home to share the account with us...so basically, $1. per household per month.

The list of available titles is long, and includes your typical Disney fare, plus Star Wars, plus Marvel, original content, and National Geographic. The service went live today and we are very happy!

We are able to stream Disney Plus through our Amazon Firestick and have our Amazon Prime content available as well.

So long, Netflix.

We just have Amazon Prime and The Blaze. Then we have basic Spectrum for our regular TV package over the internet- not cable.

Streaming is evolving too fast for me so I am sticking with the 200-300 or so channels I get on Spectrum until the whole streaming thing sorts itself out...

At least to date, I'm insulated from the fragmentation in that I subscribe to Acorn TV. It features British, Australian, and some Canadian TV. The shows are much classier than the stuff shown on the other streaming services. (IMHO) Another alternative is Britbox which has British shows that go much further back in time than what is on Acorn, plus additional British TV not on Acorn. I prefer Acorn in that many of my real favorites have been Australian TV productions.

We cut our cable package back one tier a couple of years ago to save close to $25/mo when we only streamed Netflix. But two years later, we are back over our previous monthly TV bill streaming Netflix, Prime, DAZN (sports), what ever is free on our Roku streamer, and now Apple TV (free for a year with a new Iphone). I've investigated HDTV over the air antenas, but it looks like I could only get 10/12 channels, with only a half a dozen clear.

We find the best selection that we like on Netflix, so we stick with that. But at the price, we might consider dropping it if we can get enough selection elsewhere.

We have Amazon Prime because we buy so much on Amazon, so we basically consider the video streaming a freebie.

We also got in on the intro pricing to Disney Plus, getting 3 years for the price of 2 (plus an additional year through Verizon).

We cut the cable over 15 years ago. Huge savings over the years.

We occasionally watch a movie at the theater (usually $5 Tuesdays or matinee) and supplement Netflix and Amazon Prime with a Redbox once in a while (usually when they have a coupon and a movie we haven't seen). The only other streaming service we've tried was Pureflix. We loved the concept, but too small of a selection for the price so we canceled.

My cable service with Spectrum includes a streaming app so there is no need to pay for extra boxes. Guess what, it went down this morning, crashed from everyone streaming the impeachment hearings?

Hulu Live is going up to $55 in December. A 12-month 200+ channel package on either Frontier or Spectrum is $70 when bundled with Internet. How can this business model work?

I am going to need something when we get back to the dells. My husband likes to watch tv,but I suspect most of the pleasure is changing channels. He is having trouble with a plain vanilla remote, I don’t think he can handle any streaming services
