FYI to anyone looking for an Interval platinum upgrade discount. I logged in today to purchase the platinum upgrade and the 50% offer was available in my Marriott corporate account. No code needed.

And you can do it multiple times. Mine only had 50% up to 2 years. But if you wanted 5 years, you can do 2 2 Years at 50% and 1 year and get a five years at 50%

I was called by II about a pending exchange (no match) and was offered 2 years for the price of one. I stated I didn’t need it for the first Marriott corporate account but what about my second one? (different names)
I was able to get it on the account I wanted so worth a call if you were looking to extend. It was not available on my other accounts. (I have 5)

Call me crazy, but last July I purchased it 5 times (10 years). A week later II had an offer which further discounted the 5-year (additional $137 off the discounted price) and 3-year (additional $128 off) basic rates so I purchased 8 years (had 2 years remaining on my membership so they now both expire in 2028). You could only purchase each of them once. I spent a good chunk of change in July 2018, but I'm set until 2028. I'm sure I'll have sticker shock when I have to renew.
