We moved from Barony to Surf Watch today Both are very nice and dependent on building and unit etc

But I think at the end of this week we may jump Barony over a favorite of ours—-Surf Watch

Glad you're having fun on Hilton Head.

Don't forget to get the best breakfast on the island: Sunrise Cafe

Plenty of places for dinner, but only one for breakfast! The concierge should be able to tell you exactly where Sunrise Cafe is.

Sheraton Bdw Pln x2

We too like Barony---- behind Grande Ocean though---- but both ahead of SurfWatch.
But that's strictly our personal preference going back 20 years. We purchased GO & Barony.
But SW has it's loyal following for good reasons too...I cannot deny SW lovers their affinity for their beloved resort,
as the reasons are valid. The reasons are simply different because the resorts are very different,
especially in footprint and overall landscape setting,
as it goes for all resorts and their respective owners, and I understand.

Per your recommendation for Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe, you are spot on...
Sunrise Cafe is far and away the best breakfast spot on HH, and their menu, food, and service are exceptional.

However, DO NOT neglect Kenny B's as a breakfast spot, too----trust me.
It's different from Sunrise Cafe, but is superb in it's own right.
We change it up frequently, going to Sunrise 2 times out of 3.

Kenny B's is smaller, family-owned, and the food they offer is also as good as it gets.
The atmosphere is fun, quirky and truly memorable.
The two are just different.
The menu at KB's is more limited, but don't think for one minute that what they do serve is not delicious.
Kenny B's grits are much better than Sunrise,
the bacon and eggs are equal, but I think Sunrise excels in other categories.
The different Benedicts at Sunrise,
especially the Sunrise Benedict (with no meat and my favorite, EVEN though I like meat) is awesome.
And their many specials set them apart. The menu at Sunrise is huge, and their large, wonderful, amazing staff can
handle a large crowd.
Two vastly different approaches, but both awesome.

Whenever we get to spend Thanksgiving in HH, we order the Thanksgiving Dinner Box from KennyB's. Cajun deliciousness in every way and would highly recommended to anyone if they get the chance!

We don't go out to eat much---and almost never breakfast----but thanks for thinking of us---haha!

I think overall, one of the lesser two buildings at Surf Watch is about equal to the same at Barony.

Then, maybe the third best building at Surfwatch = same at Barony, etc, etc?

We can't know exactly, because while we stayed in the third best at Barony, we have not stayed at one of the top three buildings (closest to ocean) at Surf Watch. Nonetheless, we are happy with our exchange into Surf Watch---and will certainly enjoy our stay.

The one thing that SW has that neither GO or Barony have is those ginormous three bedrooms....it's so lovely when we travel with my daughter, my mother, and then my in-laws as well....and we can all have our own space (more or less.)
