Just curious - but there always seems to be availability at this resort. Even cheap getaways and AC usage. Is it that there is limited air to get to the island or is the resort "just ok"?

It depends a lot on the time of year.
There tends to be much more availability during the hurricane season from June 1st to end November.
Fortunately, St Kitts has had very limited hurricane damage over recent years compared to many other Caribbean islands (almost none at the resort since we bought there over 10 years ago)
Flight options have increased from the US, but are still restricted, we seem to have better options from the UK.

Airfare to St Kitts from the US is limited and expensive compared to other more frequented islands such as Aruba and Bahamas.

For example, there are daily and multiple nonstop flights from NYC area to Aruba and Bahamas but only 1-2 days of nonstop flights to St Kitts. Not to mention I don't think air from NYC ever goes below $600's to go to St. Kitts.

I feel it is the cost to fly into St. Kitts compared to flying into Nassau, Jamaica, Aruba or even St Thomas from the USA mainland.

Is the availability for the timeshare or the hotel? I haven’t looked lately, but I typically see the 2BR timeshare in low season and the hotel units in the getaways.

We own the timeshare and we don’t go too often because of flight availability. And there are no direct flights to get from st Kitts to st Thomas, which we might consider doing back to back.

Last time we combined stays at St Kitts and St Thomas, we had to fly via St Martin as there were no direct flights.

Thanks all, it does appear it is more about the flight issue than the resort itself.
