Booking 12 months out - To the day or the month?

I searched but couldn't find my answer, apologies if its been addressed.

I want too book 2020's December Christmas week using my Plat week at Harbour Lake. It shows the 17th thru the 25th in the WHITE color (Date in your season but not available to check in).
Is it because its all rented?
Or because its only Dec 5th and its 365 days to the day of check in you want? I was able to get 2018 and 2019 relatively easily but I did it after we checked out.

If you are signed in to the Owner website and go to Helpful Tools, When can I reserve, Using my week, click on your resort and enter your check in date you should see that it is not available to book until 17th December 2019
(unless you are a multiple weeks owner booking consecutive or concurrent weeks at the 13 month mark)

Essentially it is the first day of the weekend, 12 months beforehand at 9AM EST. For example, even if you want a Sat. check-in, if your resort does Thursday to Sunday arrivals it would be 12 months before the Thursday arrival date.

Glad WMTC is check in and out any day of the week. Simple calculation for 13 month Booking Window. The Booking Day Window starts online at 6am Pacific Time and by telephone at 8am Pacific Time.

I am struggling to understand any benefit in having different online and telephone booking windows?

So you understand the underlying principles, For weeks it's 12 months out from the First day or the FIRST day one can reserve that week, or 13 months for concurrent or consecutive weeks. So for HL it would be either Nov. or Dec 17 of this year for any checkin that covers Xmas next year. However 11/17 is a Sunday so it would be the Monday technically. Of course it could be earlier if one is using concurrent or consecutive weeks and points reservations are on a different schedule.

Let me caution you though that while I think the calculator is great to understand the options, I've seen it be wrong once and I've seen the reservations come available at different times than the calculator said.
