At 84 years old, Lt. Col. Maggie DeSanti still fits in her Army uniform. She also can still pull rank on the younger generation.

Many of the TSA inspectors are Veterans and prior Law Enforcement. A tough and thankless job.

My work makes me aware of the Honor Flights....It's a great service to bring the 'Greatest Generation' to Washington to see the Monument to their (collective) Service and Sacrifice.

Our world can barely imagine what they gave, what they gave-up and what they did to make our generation(s) possible.

Maggie DeSanti: You should know. There are some discussions about the veracity of her service record.

The Silver Star is a tremendous honor. It is our Nation's third highest honor for Valor. This is not a 'trivial' award.
I will not disparage the service of any veteran.
I also will not dilute the honor and valor of any soldier who received the Silver Star.
There are currently only 6 Women on record that have received the Silver Star. The list is incomplete, but...

I sincerely hope that the allegations of 'stolen valor' can be quickly resolved.
