Anyone on Marco Island/Naples? How is the red tide?

We're supposed to go 12/21 - and I have bad asthma, I already have a back up plan in Orlando. Just waiting to see how the red tide is?

Last report wasn’t bad. I am going to Vanderbilt beach next week and will find out. I too have asthma

That brings back memories. I grew up going to Vanderbilt beach back when it seemed few knew about it and we had it mostly to ourselves!

At Crystal Shores now, no apparent issue with red tide, although the official statement rates it as "slight". See: https://visitbeaches.org/ and choose "South Marco Beach" for current information. Weather is beautiful.

I live in Naples my parents live on Marco. Last weekend it was bad. I will be down there this weekend and can let you know.
