I am thinking of depositing another week and may use RCI. I already have over 60 TPU in one combined deposit. I am late depositing my 2019 week and I have lost 6 TPU with RCI. Is it worth the $69 (last time I checked) to restore the 6 TPU? I'm thinking not, but using my MF divided by the full TPU value of my week TPUs are around $35. Still, by making a deposit I am already committing to a lot of future dollars heading RCI's way. Not sure I want to give them $69 more. Any thoughts? Other than the fact that I really should get my act together and decide what to do with my weeks earlier...

Hmm. I would say 6 TPU might be worth it, if it's still $69 to restore. But then you're only restoring the points for something like six months. Will you use them up within six months?

What is the likelihood you will need your 6 tpu’s. If you need them and don’t have them you will regret not saving them. If you think you will have a hard time using the points you have now and most probably will not use the 6 saved tpu’s then no need to spend the money.

I am hoping to do more traveling now that I have retired, and I will have two years to use these TPUs before they expire (or I have to add more $$$ to extend them) so I may take the chance and restore them. Thanks for the responses. I guess $69 on top of all the other fees isn't too much and I would hate to want the TPUs and not have them.

I really have to start thinking in advance if I'm going to use timeshares as part of my retirement travels.
