I bought this several years ago as well. It has worked well for me, but I can't say that it has been my best purchase. In my case, I have been able to use it and I saved some money and got some nice benefits. But most people find that they are unable to use it as much as anticipated. This is true for most timeshare disaster stories though - paying too much and using too little. I have used it for big family and friend vacations, and we are consistently pleased with the quality of the resorts. A nice feature is that kids under 12 are free. Now that my kids are older, its value is declining. I also ate and drank more. As I get older, the all inclusive concept is declining in value as well. But I still prefer all inclusive resorts vs. cruising, so I will continue to use this happily in the coming years. In general, I think the value of all inclusive vacations is incredible. You get an incredible amount of service at low cost. Notice that there are no all inclusives in developed countries. The cost of labor to provide these services would be astronomical, so nobody could afford to do all inclusive in the U.S.
The worst part is that I got scammed during my purchase. I made a rookie mistake and paid extra for a service that promised to sell a couple other timeshares I owned at very favorable prices. I was also told that I could easily rent unused weeks and make a big profit.
Please contact me if you need help using it. For my next large group vacation in 2019, I can probably use a couple of your weeks (probably in Punta Cana).
