Best company to deposit a popular So-Cal week?

Looking to deposit my So-Cal 1-bedroom week #27 with an exchange company. This year it will be a July 6 check-in, so usually considered a high-season week. In the past I have deposited with RCI, but then in latter years switched over to the independents, specifically DAE (that gave me a second bonus week), and SFX. Any recommendations as to which company I should go with? Any specials that make it worthwhile to pick one company over the others. Advice appreciated.

I recently deposited my Coronado week with SFX because they gave me a free year of Diamond membership and a 5 night Vidanta stay. Also the usual - extended an expiring deposit for another year and gave a bonus week as well. I looked for my flyer but I can't find it, but I recall that this offer expired on Dec 28th, so you may want to call them soon.

It completely depends on where you want to go.

Pretty open to destinations in Mexico and the southern USA, some place warmer than Canada. Prefer Oceanside destinations. Just don't like all-inclusives.

SFX is good for Mexico and California. But, before you deposit - call them and ask they what they will give you in exchange. They are a small company and if they want your deposit, they will work with you.

I still deposit my So Cal 1 bed with RCI - I end up with almost 2 exchanges into high season ski for each of my So Cal weeks

Trading Places International (TPI) has a promotion right now where if you deposit a prime week prior to Jan 31, you will get two bonus weeks that can be used for exchanges within the next 45 days. TPI usually has decent inventory of Hawaii (BI, Maui and Kauai) as they manage a few different resorts and get bulk banks of a few resorts. Of southern California, they get a reasonable supply of the San Clemente Inn and then a smattering of other SoCal resorts. Their exchange fees are quite a bit less than RCI's. I also find that RCI doesn't get the same volume of soCal resort deposits that they once used to - either that or they choose to rent them out more often now than make them available for exchange. For those exchanges, you need to really be willing to travel last min (2 weeks from check-in) because they haven't been rented.
