I like Spring because the days are longer. If you want to do anything outdoors like go to Red Rock Canyon or other sites, the long days with sunsets around 7 pm vs. 5 pm really make a difference.
Mar 15 is during spring break. Forget that unless you like to hang out with 20 year olds, hear lots of noise and spend extra money because most shows, rental cars, rooms, etc... are full. I was thinking May is the best time to go. It is also warmer and more enjoyable for outdoor activities or just relaxing by the pool. Try to complete your trip and be flying home before Memorial Day weekend.

We like both but prefer October weather over March. March can be windy and kick up a lot of dust from the desert. Also, there's March Madness to deal with and/or NASCAR if you happen to be there for that week.
