Best Title Company to Change Title at Lagoon Tower

I have two places at Lagoon Tower (Hilton Hawaiian Village), a 1-bedroom and, last year, I added a 2-bedroom. But, the first is in the name of my LLC, and the second in the name of my trust. I want to change title on the LLC to the trust so I can merge the two accounts and have access to the total points.

Hilton's title company charges $800 and will do it. But, a chunk of that $800 is for Title insurance. They (their title company) requires that I buy title insurance. But, I don't want to if I can avoid it and save the money, I have title insurance from when I purchased it as the LLC. They said I can use any title company to make this change.

Anyone have a title company they recommend for changing title in Hawaii?

You can try first American title or title guaranty hawaii.

You don't have to use a Title Co. in Hawaii and LT Transfers can do it for a lot less:

Thx. Whereas Hilton's Title division wanted $800, Hawaii Document Service quoted $429.

Thx. Buyer beware I guess. I knew there was a problem when Hilton required purchase of a title insurance policy, which I knew was optional generally in these transactions. When I'm transferring from me to me, not a lot of benefit in paying for title insurance.

There is no reason to buy title insurance, because you are not selling your property. Anyone who tells you that you need title insurance is just padding their bill.

I have used LT Transfers many times and they are inexpensive, knowledgeable, and nice to work with.
