Interestingly, Shawn Pearson, the new CEO, has no timeshare experience. But, according to the company press release, at his last job he oversaw "a strategic acquisition that resulted in substantial growth in distribution channels and product development". With Alan Levan back in complete control of his empire, Pearson may be a harbinger of things to come.

Yes, youppi, that is possible. But image the irony if Bluegreen acquired Diamond Resorts. Alan Levan is ambitious and Apollo needs a buyer. Remember, Cloobeck had one resort -- Polo Towers -- and acquired Suntarra. Leveraged buyouts can make that kind of deal happen.
