California Property Tax Bills

We recently finalized a resale purchase at Desert Springs II. My understanding is that for California properties the property tax bill is sent directly to the owner, rather than being billed through MVC. Does Riverside County send out one tax bill with two payment dates or two tax bills each year? Also, when can I expect to receive the bill(s) each year? Thanks, in advance!

Riverside County sends out one tax bill towards the end of the year (Oct/Nov) with 2 payment dates (2 halves).

Ours for Shadow Ridge comes from Riverside county. One bill with two payment dates. Bill covers time period period July - June. Maybe it arrives between April and May.

Property tax bills for California (Riverside Co) were printed and mailed out around Sept 15th. They covered the period from 7/1/17 to 6/30/18. They can be paid in two installments with the first half due on 12/10/17 and the second half due on 4/10/18. I always pay it in one installment in December. Dont be late in paying. They stiff you good with penalties. Yes they are sent directly to the owner and not to Marriott. I own at DSV I but payment dates are same for DSV 2 and Shadow Ridge ( All Riverside Co timeshares).
