JUST $700 FOR THE WEEK.....This is an ocean view one bedroom unit at the almost five star resort Grand Pacific Palisades in Carlsbad, CA. We live five minutes away and can guide you to the best local places to eat, play and shop...Legoland is a short walk from the resort. If you have never been to Carlsbad you can count on an interesting trip.
The beach is five minutes away and ten miles long....sure it's cold during the night but it reaches the mid 60's during the day and the water is crystal clear if it doesn't rain....Southern California has been a winter paradise for those getting away from the snow and cold of just about anywhere else in the nation....we moved from New Jersey and when it was raining and almost freezing you can't escape that bone chill....
The area includes twenty five places to dine from ocean front high end spots to In and Out Burgers and we can tell you where to park oceanfront to enjoy your meal....remember we face West so Sunsets tend to be special...How about an excursion to Torrey Pines State park 20 minutes South, where you can hike and sit where no building is in sight with a 180 degree ocean front view. You have seen the golf tournaments next door and those places are open to the public unlike most of the ocean front courses elsewhere.
The unit is about 950 SF with a great balcony or patio, a king sized bedroom and full kitchen and living areas....you will say I was right its almost Marriott quality but Hilton Vacation Club looked hard and passed....they have the next door resort. We have enjoyed many of the GPX resorts in the group.
