We just stayed 4 nights at the Grand Chicago Riverfront 1 bdrm pres. and the elevators are NOT fixed. The elevators were slowest in the morning (when everyone is trying to get out) and in the evening (when everyone is returning). The internet was slow and intermittent, water pressure was low, and the freezer drawer (fridge) didn't work. BUT the view was gorgeous. We were in rm 2311; odd number rooms face the river. The timeshare presentations are on floor 24 and so we could hear them (poor insulation) but we watched the bridges go up.

We were there several weeks ago for five nights. Took an Amtrak to Chicago and an Uber from Union Station to and from Wyndham. Stayed in unit 2203, one bedroom presidential. The elevators weren't working then either. At one point all 4 banks of elevators were out of order and had to use the fright elevator, along with everyone else in the building including housekeeping, maintenance, etc. When it got to our floor it was full and we had to wait time and time again. It took forever to get to the lower level and back to our unit. The unit has a lot of issues too. Shower wouldn't turn all the way off, the refrigerator wasn't very cold and wouldn't make ice, a set of lights in the bathroom wouldn't turn off - only dim. The glass barn door from the bathroom to the bedroom allowed the light into the bedroom at night. The Bose surround sound didn't work either. At least the view of Trump Tower across the river and the iconic view of the bridges from the unit and location were great, nothing else. Didn't go to the high pressure sales presentation. Didn't want to get stuck on the 24th floor with the elevators being unreliable.

Is that like the one at Disney that drops you straight down...?!:);)

Cheers!

I love typos. I normally find mine way after the edit-limit.

It is Wyndham and Chicago. What does one expect!
