Hi all, I just came by this forum and I am very impressed with the friendly, helpful atmosphere and ethical nature of the site.

I recently posted information for my timeshare in the bargain bin section here: https://tugbbs.com/forums/index.php?threads/club-qm-memberhsip-timeshare-free.290702/

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for giving this timeshare away or giving it back to the resort. I found this link here: https://tugbbs.com/forums/index.php?threads/thunderbird-club-qm-what-to-do.247985/

which seems to show a successful resolution to this membership. Does anyone else have any advice or past experience dealing with this timeshare company? Thank you very much for all your time.

I'd suggest you do what the poster in that thread did - call the management offices and speak to them about cancelling your membership. Ask how it can be done. If it is only a membership, and not a deeded timeshare, they should be more flexible, if the account is current. I've done that a few times with other companies.

Your Bargain basement ad is fine. For someone looking to own there, you paying all transfer fees is a good idea. Hopefully someone will step up.

Good luck!

Dave
