The Crestwood Resort Home Owners Association recently voted to take the necessary action and put the Association in a position to sell Crestwood Resort. This decision was reached as a result of the excessive amount of renovations needed, increasing cost of maintaining and operating the resort, plus the maturing owner base that were leaving the program, thus creating a burden on the existing ownership to pay ever increasing annual maintenance fees.

Based upon the election results, Crestwood Resort HOA in Whitefish, Montana will no longer be accepting reservations for incoming travelers after Jan 5, 2019.

This is very disappointing. We stayed there last June and really liked it. It looked like a well kept up independent resort that spent money on things that counted (couches and kitchen equipment), and not on things that don't (kitchen cabinets and countertops). The location was great for visiting Glacier and the Flathead Valley but during the week, the only people there were older who seemed to spend most of their time in the pool/hot tub. So I understand why they are doing it and think it's probably the responsible move, but will be disappointed not to be able to stay there in the future.

Yes, its unfortunate. Stayed there 3 times. Good base for visiting GNP and them coming back to a town full of restaurants and shops.
