Great question, we were looking at this resort to visit parts of the Great Smokey Mts.

The resort is very nice. There are alot of amenities on the property and the town is close by. The other propery that is nice is Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk about a 1/2 hour away but there are more amenities at Chetola.
I believe you will be happy if you stay at Chetola with what I saw.
I was asking as I was looking into acquiring a fixed week there and alway look for as much info I can find.

I just submitted a review that I thought you would like to read. The place and surrounding area just was so beautiful. So much to do.
I did get 2 consecutive weeks in the same unit for $100 each and closing costs and they are one bedrooms, the layout I prefer with maintenance fees under $600 a week plus they are the highest travel demand index in II.
After all these years in timesharing it still amazes me when I find the needle in the haystack that I love and am looking so forward to go to.
If you don’t want to trade or can’t get a trade in there are owners who rent for much less then if you went directly through the resort through the HOA website
