Does anyone have a new grid for RCI Points for Deposit values?

No one? Crazy. It has not changed since this one? I tried to find it on RCI.com, but no matter how I worded my search, it wouldn't recognize the exact words I was using.

Stupid RCI. I shouldn't have paid that much for a week at Val Chatelle for a month from now. That makes me crazy. It should be 9K points or less because it's a weeks' resort, not a points' resort. So annoying.

They haven't published a new one. You have to call and ask about the value. I thought that it would be based on what they charge in terms of points but I have been told by an owner who regularly use points for deposit that at their resort (Summit at Massanutten) even though they lowered what a prime week cost to book they still gave the same old higher amount if you do a pfd.

I don't know if that means that if the upped what it cost to book that they still offered the old lower amount. You have to call to find out. By not publishing the chart they can change what they offer regularly.

I am not sure where I should make this statement. i talked to RCI this week and they have lowered my Point Value on my Sheraton Vistana 2 bedroom unit. They gave me 45,000 points for it but it had been worth 57,500 points. I talked with a supervisor and he stated it was base on supply and demand and that most likely they had too many units already in their inventory from this resort. Thus the lowered point value. He also stated that it can change from year to year. I have never experienced this before now. Has anyone else noticed a change in the point value of your unit? I guess I will leave them in the Marriott system from now on.

Do you use points for deposit (PFD) or had you paid for an rci conversion years ago? I know some Vistana units are in rci points but not sure if it is the villages or resort. Technically PFD amounts can change although they don't seem to change that often and as mentioned there is no current published charts so it is hard to say.
