Anyone received call or know anything about lawsuit against Festiva and claiming owners can get out of contract?

None of it sounds legit but which of these are you looking to do, sue Festiva or get out of your contract?

Have had the timeshare several years originally purchased from Celebration which Festiva apparently bought. I no longer use the timeshare and checked with Festiva about deeding it back to them but they would not accept it. Just trying to do something with it to keep from having to keep paying maintenance fees. I will post it on this site as give away to see if there is any interest. The company who called indicated that because of lawsuit, owners would be able to cancel their contracts. Just wondered if any other Festiva owners received calls regarding this. There are so many scam companies out there and don't want to be a victim.

We have not received a call, but we are in the same boat as you. We bought with Celebration 12 years ago. M & F was $600. Now it's $1200! It was great while it lasted, but we don't use it anymore, and the kids don't want it. I'm ready to give this thing away as well.

Have been following threads re FESTIVA. We own a deeded 1br biannual at the Church St Inn in Charleston SC. It’s a beautiful unit in a beautiful bldg, next to the Old Market. Trying to get as much info as poss in selling it. Any help would be appreciated. Wondering what value our unit has.

I believe if you offered it in the free bargain section or for free in the tug marketplace you will get a taker.
