Famous 15-Foot Alligator Comes Back to Florida Golf Course
By Jennifer Earl/ Fox News/ Reptiles/ Science/ foxnews.com

"A famous "giant" alligator nicknamed "Chubbs" got ready for another round of golf over the weekend.

The nearly 15-foot gator went viral in 2016 after casually strolling across the grass at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida, as shocked golfers stared. Afterward, Sarasota resident Charles Helms shared a short clip of the "monstrous" creature on social media — and the "dinosaur" instantly became a social media celebrity...."

Avoid going into the pond after your ball, and you'll prolly be okay.

I have never understood why some golfers will get up early in the morning ; and look for and pickup golf balls around the edge of ponds on a golf course.

Especially when signs are posted do not feed the alligators.

And especially when swamp tours toss out marshmallows because they look like dead fish to gators. Golf ball/marshmallow looks about the same color wise and size wise.
