Does anyone have any experience with this property?

[This may appear to be a duplicate post. I have read the rules. I posted this question in the "Buying, Renting, Selling" forum, but after a couple days, have not had any responses. So I decided to try this forum that is specific to Florida.]

We stayed there several years ago, in the units across the street from the beach. Our 2-bedroom unit was very small, and had only one bathroom. I did write a review here on TUG, but only members are allowed to access the reviews, and I see that you are a guest.

The beach was very nice.

I've stayed many times but it's been a few years.
Units are dated but clean, the 3 bedroom in front of the pool is the
biggest unit. Lots of stairs in some of the 1 bedrooms so take that
into consideration. Lovely beach until the Red Tide hit.
The 2 bedrooms are across the street, I don't care for crossing the
busy road so I usually stay on the beach side.
This is an old Hawaiian style timeshare.
One of the first motels to convert to TS in Ft. Myers.
I've been going since it was a motel.

We like Lahaina and always stay on the beach side. No crossing the street for us. They are very lax on check-in. They don't ask for car info and I don't think they even asked for ID or credit card. They offer a free breakfast and lunch during the week. The beach is normally very nice and they provide free chairs and beach equipment. Parking can be tight during busy time since it's first come first serve. There are a lot of stairs for most 2nd floor units. Definitely liked our stay.

This is a duplicate post. I saw your other identical inquiry in the Buying, Selling and Renting forum a few minutes ago and I provided a response there; I'm not going to re-type it here.

I'm surprised anyone is even asking about resorts in the Ft Myers area. My wife is convinced the red tide and blue-green algae problems are keeping everyone away. It's so bad the city is providing funds to small businesses that are losing all their business because of the water quality. If you're not familiar, google it. I see stories on the national news all the time, so it's not a local secret.

Seems to me that inquiring folks are looking for information on resorts, likely for future use dates and with the assumption that the current red tide situation there is only a temporary phenomenon.

Near the sea.
We stayed there two years ago in May on the beach side. I liked it all except it had a big problem with termites that came out in the unit at night when the lights were on and flew around the lights. Management seemed to dismiss it as a short lived problem in an old wooden building. I would not return.
