We've had some great trades with this "get our feet wet" ownership we've used strictly for affordable trades in II. As a Triennial, you pay annual dues of $268 every year for usage every third year. This 4BR locks off into 2x2BRs with kitchens, so if you are just trying on the idea of trading, this is a great starter, and you can use it once every 3 years for 2 weeks as a 2BR or trade both sides, trade it as a 4BR for a larger suite for 1 week, or use the 2 weeks locked off however you see fit over 3 years.

Week 14 is spring break some years, so you'll see in the TDI that some years show a higher demand than others, but always over the median. Usage for 2019 is already traded and being used by us, so the next usage is 2022, and your MFs will start this year in December. Back in 2016 I prepaid my dues to get a jump on trading and we're finally using the weeks.

A completely free and low MF obligation timeshare. Happy to answer any questions and use the transfer service of your choice. I've used LT in the past and am happy to use them again. Low cost and reliable.

Forgot to add: WLM / WPN has a gold laurel "Premier Resort" designation in II, so it does have decent trading power and will pull hotel branded resorts if that's your thing. We've used it primarily to trade into Vidanta. I can't seem to quit Vidanta.

This was our first resort. Loved it. We were able to pull Marriott's Grande Ocean in early Sep. It was within flex, but our 1BR WPN was able to see it.

We did the same as you. We discovered Vidanta Grand Luxxe and traded WPN almost exclusively into it after the first trade.

I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, that this is absolutely the most affordable way to get into larger suites in Vidanta if you can travel flexibly in the shoulder season. Before we had kids in school we always went (and are actually kind of still going) 2 weeks at a time over Victoria day long weekend in May. The weather is lovely, the resort is not over crowded, and with the 2 BR you only pay 1 room upgrade fee to get into the Presidential 3BR lockoff in Punta, or 2 to get into the 4BR residences, which I mean, come on - no brainer right? Then we pile in a few other families with kids the same ages as ours and do a big Walmart stock up for the week. Super affordable luxury family vacay ideal for young kids when you don't want to venture off resort yet.

Just checked in with LT Transfers. Cost is $150 to do paper work, $10 for mailing deed, and $50-60 to register deed. Williamsburg Plantation also charges a $250 transfer fee. Total cost of transfer is $460-$470 depending on cost to register.
