The Sandcastle Cove at New Bern offers something for everybody!

Unit 5101 is close to the Marina, Activity Center and Pools. Two bikes are provided and the lower part of this Pedestal house is a lockable storage area for khakis, canoes, additional bikes, etc. There is a water view from the unit with both a screened in porch and open balcony for outside relaxation.

Week 28
This prime Summer week has a check in date ranging between Between July 9 and July 17 making it a solid Red Week and earning the maximum number of RCI Points for Sandcastle Cove. Because it is a Friday check-in, friends and family may visit for the the full weekend if not able to get vacation time for a week.

RCI Points
With a Maintenance Fee of $723 earning 61,500, this is 1.38 cents per point $698 earning 61,500 points, this is 1.13 cents per point - a very good rate. 61,500 points will earn 7 to 9 weeks of last minute exchanges. I have found that the selection of weeks offered in this type of exchange is considerably better than RCI’s Weeks Last Call and unlike Last Call, there is no sales tax. Currently RCI rents points out at 3 cents per points, more than double your cost.

The home week (28) can always be used instead of receiving points. Also the Points Week can revert to the Basic Week by not joining or renewing RCI Points membership.

VRI
I have not used the Exchange Company VRI but Sandcastle Cove is affiliated with them as well as RCI to give owners more options. There is no membership fee to belong.

We have had many enjoyable vacations not only at Fairfield Harbor but all the exchanges we have made about a month out for less than 10,000 points.
