I recently became co-owner with my sister & dad of his two Kona Coast Resort II deeded holiday weeks. He bought them from Shell so reservations are now made through a wyn.com email address, but they are not enrolled in Wyndham Points Plus. MFs are paid to the KCR II Owners Association. He’s been depositing and trading through an RCI Weeks account that he got as part of a deal involving my brother and two other timeshare resorts (that’s another story). My question is, are we free to deposit those KCR weeks with II or another exchange company, or are we limited to RCI because KCR II is part of the Shell portion of KCR? I’m asking here because I don’t want to stir things up with Wyndham if I don't have too!

TIA!

As long as you haven’t deposited the weeks into the RCI account, you can do whatever you want with them. However if you deposit the week into II you have to use that exchange company.

KCR I and II are available in II and have 3 getaways available for June, July, and August for $2k for a 1BR. I don't know if that's a good deal or not lol. And yes, once you deposit into II, the week/points are in II and you have to request a trade. I'm pretty sure a week at a Gold resort in HI should trade quite well to anywhere on the main land.

Thanks to both of you!
