Location
Coast of Maine
The Reef & Morningstar are closed for at least another year, so limited options onsite compared to before. But islands are doing much better.

We were there last July and although the Reef was closed FC is super nice so we really enjoyed the trip so much that we purchased a 3bdrm gold unit. We already rented 2019 and will return to FC in 2020 when the Reef is rebuilt but even without I thought it was a great trip.

I was there in August- the Cove is up and running! The neighboring hotels are still closed so you need to rent a car (or take cabs) to get to supermarkets and other restaurants. The one restaurant at the Cove was very good (we only had “pool food” there). Many (but not all) restaurants are open. We liked Tap and Still for quick burgers and beer and Pesce for Italian dinner. Mims is open but it wasn’t our favorite. Lots of others love it though. Excursions are open - we went on The Cat, catamaran to see the turtles. We also went to water island. I loved St. Thomas and would definitely return. It will be even better once 100%!

Thank you all for the inputs. I’m very relieved that the hotel is up and running. I don’t care too much of the restaurants since I’m planning to cook most of the meals instead.
