I have received word from Hyatt that they are waiving their Right of First Refusal.

At this time: the file will be moved to be reviewed and the documents prepared.

This will still take some time to prepare and be sent out.

Once the documents are prepared they will be sent out by USPS Priority Mail.

This process usually takes about 2 weeks or so to prepare.

Thank you and have a nice day,

No I wanted to get some points now. I will go stay there and if I really want a certain unit I can wait it out and get another week

Which unit and week did you buy?

I just went through the same thought process as you, buy now or wait for that perfect unit. We decided on a pretty good week in a pretty good unit rather than paying a premium for the perfect unit, or waiting forever for a bargain in the perfect week and perfect unit. Good enough. Still waiting for it to close.

Close to the activities center.

We stayed in unit 722 this past November. No view but we liked to location- quiet, same general vicinity as your unit. Had a lot of bike stuff and being able to park right outside the unit with no steps was nice.

What are you going to try for with your points? Is this your second Hyatt unit?

My First Hyatt week. Going to try to get a few nights in Maui and the rest in Sedona. I am ok using all the points in Sedona. Would like to visit , Carmel , Cancun , and key west at some point in the future. It’s only EOY but enough to figure out if I like the system.

Carmel is surprisingly easy to get, we’ve gone every year for the past 5ish years now. We love it.

Sedona is pretty swell too, I’m crazy for the mountain biking there so like to go when it’s cooler. November typically which has the added bonus of being a bargain pointswise. Last year though I traded into a 2BR the week after Thanksgiving using my SBP using II. It snowed our last day there. Magic.

Our recent platinum EOY week is our second unit, we already had a Gold week. In even years we’ll have 3880 points and in odd years 1880. So we’re going to try for a week in Maui Jan-Apr of 2020. It won’t break our hearts to go to Carmel and Sedona for a week each instead though. They are great resorts.

When you say you want to go to Cancun, are you talking about with your Hyatt points? How do you do that? You mean an Interval Exchange?
