Less than 2 months until our trip to Nuevo. Of course one person cancelled so now we have a 3 bedroom for 2 couples. Things I would like to know are directions for walking out of the resort through the sea gardens, thinking of a 6/6 meal plan to share between the 4 of us. Maybe we should do 2 of these? Anyone know the current cost?
Not to miss things to do haven't been to PV area for around 40 years. Want to go to Bucherias and perhaps Punta Mita rent a car or take the bus?

TIA
Joan

Walking out is fairly simple; go to the Beach and head north past the turtle sanctuary. Sea Garden is one of the big white buildings with a pool in front of it. Vidanta signs make it fairly obvious. It's easy to walk through to the street; bus stop is near the Oxxo, I understand.

Don't remember the meal plan cost. We find it cheaper to just buy eggs & bacon for breakfast in the room.

We like doing the food tours in PV with Vallarta Eats. Last I checked you can get 10% off with the promo code PVeats. The taco tour is quite good; the beer ones are decent but a bit much at my age.

Well of course it's cheaper, but the breakfast / brunch buffets at Cafe Del Lago are a bit more than eggs & bacon. :D

Last time we were there (3 of us), we bought a 6-pack of the breakfast coupons and the price was a very good discount from the walk-in price. So on two of the days, we used them for brunch and it worked out great!

Take the bus - way more fun & local .

Grey color ATM bus stops across from OXXO - one way to Buscarias & the other to PV .

If you take it to PV and want to go all the way to centro PV you have to change once since the ATM bus terminates past the PV hotel zone .

We have done this mid afternoon , explored PV ,had dinner and then taken a cab back for convenience
since we were tired . Cabs are pretty cheap and can take 4 passengers .

The OXXO is less than 100 yard from the Vidanta Sea Garden driveway.

The meal plan ran just less than $300 USD for each 6+6 coupon book. We found it to be worth it, but we like to eat and bought one book each for my wife and myself. We paid a la carte for the 9 year old.

Breakfast goes up to something like 11 or 12, so we always went at 10:30ish and made a brunch out of it. Between that and dinner in the very good restaurants, we never went hungry.
