Groceries at Harborside

Anyone have groceries delivered lately? How did it go. I noticed it looked like the old delivery service sold out to someone new. We are going in a couple of weeks and loved the delivery service.

We used the delivery service a few years ago, but it was expensive and the variety was minimal. Now we just take the resort van. Leaves the lobby area around 10:00 AM and for $7 they take you to a grocery store across the bridge and let you shop for an hour. The bell staff will load your stuff on a cart and deliver it to your unit.

The same grocery store will deliver your groceries to your unit, once you visit the store the first time and set up an account. The link on the confirmations has all the details.

I didn't know that! We're going two weeks in May, I can take the van week 1 then get them to deliver week 2.

We normally get our driver to take us to the grocery store on the way in from the airport. Then we don't have to spend any vacay time taking care of business.

Thank you for the replies. We have used both the shuttle and had our driver stop, but we found the delivery easier for our needs. We used foodstoretogo and the service was great Now it looks like it was purchased by instagopher. Anyone use them?

I’m at Harborside now. I used https://www.nassaugrocery.com/ this year and last. I’ve been generally pleased, though they delivered 15 minutes after my 1 hour window....not really a big deal, but they didn’t communicate with me. I’ll probably use them again as I like it being just a 1 hour window, and they filled the order 100% accurately.

I like that site. I may order some things just to get something in our unit before we take the shuttle. We typically only eat breakfast and a couple of meals in the unit. Too many great restaurants there to eat in all the time.
